The Electro/Mechanical Technician under direct supervision performs routine and some non-routine testing/analyzing processes with demonstrated proficiency.

  • Pay Rate: $28.00/hour
  • Assignment Length: 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
  • Shift Details: Monday - Thursday |10 hours | Friday is Overtime

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and some non-routine testing and analysis of electro-mechanical assemblies and systems with demonstrated proficiency.
  • Work under general supervision for repetitive tasks, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Operate under direct supervision for new or complex tasks, receiving clear instructions and guidance.
  • Demonstrate some latitude for problem-solving within established parameters.
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics accurately.
  • Translate electrical diagrams into physical chassis assemblies, ensuring precise wiring and component placement.
  • Perform soldering of electrical components and equipment with a high degree of accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of testing procedures and results.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a related technician role.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics.
  • Strong experience in soldering electrical equipment.
  • Proven ability to translate electrical diagrams into physical chassis assemblies.
  • Strong electrical background with excellent attention to detail.
  • Preferred experience in the semiconductor or aviation industry.
  • High-quality soldering skills, with the ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
  • Recent completion of a relevant technical school program may be considered for candidates with developing soldering skills.
