The Cable Technician I under direct supervision, performs basic operations to test and repair downhole cable for submersible pumps and motor equipment.
- Pay Rate: $22.00/hr
- Assignment Length: 3-month contract with the high possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and other factors.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and conduct basic tests on cables to ensure quality and functionality.
- Perform basic repairs and learn the art of cable splicing.
- Complete necessary paperwork to process cables for inventory or field deployment.
- Adhere to and learn all relevant company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Basic reading comprehension and writing skills.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Willingness to learn and apply company HSE policies and procedures.
