Your Role

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

There is no typical working week at Flybuys. But here are some of the things you will be working on, day-to-day;

Content Delivery

  • Collaborate with marketing, studio and delivery team to implement and publish requested content pieces within the defined timelines in alignment with our business goals.
  • Gather specific requirements, advise, and provide guidance on content queries in accordance with content best practices.
  • Advise and provide guidance and suggest solutions where non-standard requests are made to deliver a cohesive experience for Flybuys members.
  • Ensure that all requests are logged and prioritize in accordance with the content delivery process.
  • Catalogue, manage and lifecycle all content within the CMS to optimize system health and meet system-based metrics.
  • Keep up to date with the terminology, concepts, and best practices for content publication as shown by the innovations and improvements you bring to content development function.

CMS and DAM Migration 

  • Lead and execute content migration from legacy systems to headless CMS environments. 
  • Collaborate with developers and digital teams to test, deploy and troubleshoot new content components. 
  • Assist with integration of digital asset management system (DAM) 
  • Act as SME for the CMS: managing content models, permissions, taxonomy and workflows.  
  • Develop and manage digital governance models, authoring workflows, and publishing standards 
  • Onboard and support content authors across the business.  
  • Identify and implement improvements to templates, content authoring experiences and publishing efficiencies.  
  • Contribute feedback to platform enhancement roadmaps. 

Quality Assurance

  • Take a proactive approach to testing & quality with a strong ability to focus and apply attention to detail to ensure content is free of errors.
  • Review all briefs with requestors with a focus on detail and completeness of briefs, supporting and education teams where gaps are found. 
  • Ensure that content development and deployment is done in the best possible way and enforce quality control and review systems throughout the process.
  • Ensure all published content meets accessibility standards (WCAG) and aligns with governance protocols.  
  • Champion web best practice and stay current with emerging content and digital trends. 

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as an advisor to commercial, studio, marketing, and technical teams to assist with design, briefing, and delivery of assets and content templates, as evidence by increasing the speed to market for content releases.
  • Liaise with technology departments for seamless conflict free content deployments.
  • Reinforce the processes and workflows for content requests and build support of these processes amongst stakeholders as seen through positive adoption.
  • Work with developers and UX teams on component enhancement and usability testing.  
  • Educate and support teams to understand publishing timelines, processes and requirements. 

Documentation & Education

  • Produce and maintain artefacts with studio team, including spec sheets, process flows and how to documents inline with the content process to educate the business.
  • Recommend changes and enhancements to refine the briefing & workflow processes to in chance speed to market. 
  • Look for better ways to do things and advocate for continuous improvement as seen by you being you being regarded as the go-to person for the content delivery process.

Technology Strategy

  • Recommend changes and enhancements to the CMS authoring capabilities that form part of the platform teams backlog.
  • Input into the setting of quarterly OKR’s according to defined product & tech health metrics.

Your Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in content publishing, preferably in complex digital ecosystems  
  • Demonstrated CMS expertise: (eg.Drupal), headless CMS experience preferred (eg. Contentful) 
  • Understanding of digital best practices, SEO, WCAG compliance  
  • Basic HTML/CSS for layout refinement and issue resolution. 
  • Familiarity with DAM platforms (e.g., Cloudinary) and digital marketing tools 
  • Familiarity with GitHub for content version control and deployment processes. 
  • Experience in Agile environments and digital transformation projects 
  • Strong collaboration, communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail (essential)
