What You’ll Be Doing
Lead strategic Safety & Sustainability outcomes for Dulux New Zealand while providing hands‑on support to the Gracefield manufacturing site. You’ll blend leadership influence with practical delivery—partnering with senior stakeholders, coaching teams, and driving data‑led improvements across our commercial, office, stores network and site operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead S&S strategy for Dulux NZ, presenting to leadership and influencing senior stakeholders
- Manage S&S risk & improvement programs across commercial, office, stores, and Gracefield site, including hazardous substances and ISO certifications
- Deliver programs & incident response at Gracefield; oversee national store initiatives and driver safety training
- People leadership: Line manage Auckland S&S Advisor and coordinate support for multiple sites

What we're looking for
- Background in manufacturing or similar, with strong safety and sustainability knowledge
- Relevant tertiary qualification (engineering, science, OH&S, or environmental discipline) highly regarded
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, influencing at leadership level, and managing direct reports
- Hands-on approach with strong analytical, reporting, and project management capability
- Solid understanding of NZ safety/environment legislation and hazardous substances management
