Help shape the future of Horticulture and Agriculture.

The Yates Horticulture and Agriculture (YH&A) team is seeking a highly driven Territory Sales Manager to champion growth across the NSW region. As our Territory Sales Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering profitable sales growth and exceeding targets in your territory. You’ll build strong relationships with growers, rural resellers, agronomists, and industry consultants, making YH&A the partner of choice for innovative growing solutions.

This is a highly dynamic, field‑based sales role where you’ll spend the majority of your week (3 days) on the road, building strong relationships with customers across a large NSW territory spanning Coffs Harbour, Dubbo and Griffith. With regular travel and overnight stays, this role suits someone driven, commercially minded and comfortable working autonomously in the field. Success in this role comes from energy, urgency and a genuine passion for winning business and delivering outstanding customer outcomes as part of a collaborative team.

What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Develop and execute territory management plans to maximise sales into targeted crops
  • Provide product education, technical support, and training to customers and resellers
  • Foster positive relationships with key stakeholders across the agricultural sector
  • Provide promotional and marketing support, and represent YH&A at grower days, field days and conferences
  • Champion safety, sustainability, and stewardship in all activities

What We’re Looking for

  • Proven track record of achieving targets and experience in a similar sales role
  • Sales experience in an account management and/or business development type role
  • Strategic planning (for seasonal/crop cycle periods), project management, and solution creation skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A passion for empowering growers and driving industry innovation
