About the opportunity

We invite applications from experienced, customer centric Account Coordinators to join our award-winning industrial sales team in the B2B arm of Detpak, part of the global Detmold Group – global innovator of sustainable paper and board packaging solutions.

Based in Brompton, SA and reporting to the Account Executive, you’ll work collaboratively with Sales Support and Business Managers to form a highly responsive team that delivers a “best in class” service to all Detpak Industrial Australasia customers.  

We have a “one team” approach and support each other in achieving exceptional results; we are invested in being successful, we care about what we do.

You’ll manage all administrative tasks for your accounts including processing orders, logistics, forecasting, preparation of reports and presentations and be the first point of contact for any enquiries.

Keys to your success will be your ability to get to know your customers and understand their needs and confidently partner with the Business Managers to ensure we deliver the right solutions to delight them. 

In terms of specific responsibilities, you will:

  • Manage all aspects of your customer portfolio and coordinate services to your key accounts. 
  • Provide support and back up for service delivery across Detpak Industrial Australasia. 
  • Coordinate internal and external delivery of goods to all customers, accurately and on time.
  • Provide demand forecasts on behalf your customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing accounts and develop significant relationships with key customers. 
  • Manage the process across the product development lifecycle, from concept to invoice.
  • Perform a range of administrative tasks associated with coordinating account activities.

About you  

What you’ll need:

  • Experience in a similar role, ideally in an industrial environment (FMCG or manufacturing.)
  • Exposure to engaging and partnering with industrial customers.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships. 
  • High levels of energy, enthusiasm, and self -motivation.
  • The ability to prioritise and meet demanding deadlines.
  • A proactive, solutions focused approach to exceeding customer expectations.
  • Tech savvy with the ability learn new systems quickly.
  • Accurate data management skills.

While not essential, experience in the Packaging or Industrial B2B markets and a tertiary qualification in business, sales or marketing will be highly regarded.
