About the role:

As a Part-Time Cleaner, you will be an essential part of our team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of communal areas within aged care facilities in Robertson Park and Sunnybank. In this fast-paced, hands-on role, you will be encouraged to take pride in your work and be committed to working to a high level of safety, delivering exceptional commercial cleaning services based on our award-winning standards and our client's needs.

• Shift times: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8 am - 11 am; Tuesday, Thursday: 8 am - 12:15 pm
• Location: Robertson Park and Sunnybank

Are you the right fit?

You are someone with a proven background in commercial cleaning, preferably within an aged care environment, and possess a good understanding of the safety elements associated with this job. You are also flexible and available to work across the specified Monday to Friday shifts. A solid grasp of cleaning chemicals and their correct and safe handling, good presentation and grooming, and sound communication skills are also essential. Due to the nature of working in aged care facilities, a satisfactory Police Check is a mandatory requirement for this role. Key Responsibilities:

• Site cleanliness: Attending to the cleanliness of communal areas in aged care facilities as per our client requirements
• Community contribution: Contributing to the positive experience of patrons and the local community through your work.
• Safety adherence: Using chemicals and adhering to safety standards at all times.
• Procedural compliance: Following schedules and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Cleaning tasks: Completing tasks associated with mopping and dusting.
• General duties: Performing other duties as required for cleaning requirements.

What we are looking for:

• Availability: Flexible and available to work Monday to Friday day shifts as specified (8 am to 11 am on Mon, Wed, Fri; 8 am to 12:15 pm on Tue, Thu).
• Experience:  Experience in commercial cleaning, preferably within an aged care environment.
• Safety understanding: Good understanding of the safety elements associated with this job.
• Chemical Knowledge: Good understanding of cleaning chemicals and their correct and safe handling.
• Presentation: Good presentation and grooming.
• Communication: Sound communication skills.
• Police check: Ability to obtain and pass a Police Check.
