Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all cleaning operations comply with company standards, schedules, and food hygiene requirements (GMP, HACCP).
- Take a hands-on role in cleaning processes and lead the team in adhering to HACCP and WH&S guidelines.
- Monitor productivity and manage quality control processes, addressing client feedback and complaints promptly.
- Manage the safe storage, handling, and usage of chemicals in line with SDS and safety policies.
- Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMs).
- Conduct training, coaching, and mentoring to build a high-performing sanitation team.
- Lead internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform administrative duties including rosters, timesheets, leave management, toolbox talks, QA reporting, stock ordering, and incident documentation.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of WH&S practices specific to manufacturing environments.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to uphold exceptional food safety standards.
About You:
You are a hands-on, results-driven sanitation professional with:
- Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards in food manufacturing.
- Ideally hold an Internal Auditor qualification or have audit experience.
- Proven experience training, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams.
- Experience preparing Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Work Method Statements.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and motivate your team.
- Solid understanding of WH&S in a manufacturing environment and commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time efficiently, and deliver consistently to high standards.
