The Role:

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain daily operational functions within the Charter depot including resource allocations, fleet utilisation and ad hoc duties.
  • Ensure service delivery meets contractual KPIs.
  • Work with the Charter team to deliver a premium service to our customers.
  • Allocation of work and fleet to meet daily requirements.
  • Respond to accidents, bus availability issues and absenteeism, updating systems as required.
  • Investigate accidents/incidents using CCTV and other available information ensuring the completion and processing of accident/incident documentation.
  • Monitor staff performance and take appropriate disciplinary action where necessary.
  • Report and monitor defect process and work with internal and external service providers to maintain fleet and fleet availability.
  • Reporting on KPI’s, OTR and Private School Bus Services as required.
  • Follow all safety procedures, report hazards, and maintain fitness for work.
  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Ability to think logically, remain calm in a challenging and dynamic environment
  • Able to work flexible hours
  • Able to triage and problem solve in an ever-changing transport landscape
  • Proficiency in computer skills and comfortable to learn new technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment
  • HR licence or willing to upgrade
  • Driver Authority or willing to obtain
  • Must have or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check for Paid Employment purpose.
