Our Branch and Team
The Information Services Branch (ISB) is tasked with delivering comprehensive digital and information strategies, along with the necessary technologies and leadership, to support and improve Council’s information, processes, and systems. ISB plays a pivotal role in guiding Council’s digital transformation by establishing the strategic direction for how digital technologies can connect and enhance services while streamlining Council operations. The Cyber and Operational Technology safeguards Council's information and systems by developing and implementing comprehensive cyber security capabilities across all Council divisions.
The Role
The Strategy and Cyber Architect Manager leads the design, development, and execution of security architectures and strategies that align with business goals and regulatory standards. This role ensures the seamless integration of security principles, frameworks, and technologies across both enterprise IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments. Reporting to the Manager, Information Security and Operational Technology, the successful candidate will collaborate with Digital Strategy, Innovation, and Architecture teams to contribute to the yearly program of works as well as develop and deliver an effective cyber security strategy and roadmap, enabling the uplift of the cyber security capabilities.
To be successful you will have:
- demonstrated knowledge of core ICT principles and ability to stay current with emerging trends, within the ICT industry
- demonstrated experience implementing a large-scale cyber security architecture
- demonstrated experience in developing and improving contemporary cyber security strategies, procedures, guidelines, compliance management
- demonstrated advanced interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with employees at all levels and ability to lead the performance of staff
This role will require a Criminal History Check
