Join our team as a Customer Care Consultant!

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a passionate Customer Care Consultant to join our growing team in Newcastle NSW!

This role will be a 7 month full-time contract, and with fantastic career development opportunities it's a great chance for you to start your long term career with a Wesfarmers business.

In this dynamic and fulfilling role, you will proactively seek solutions that benefit both our customers and our business. With the support of our management and team, you will enhance your customer service skills, address issues and escalations, and utilize your problem-solving abilities to achieve swift and effective outcomes.

Some of your day to day tasks:

  • Deliver friendly and efficient service to customers via phone calls, emails, and other business systems
  • Promptly action customer requests, take ownership of inquiries, and resolve issues within set timeframes
  • Analyze customer sales history to identify service needs and explore upsell opportunities
  • Inform customers about new products and services when applicable

What you'll bring to the team:

  • Experience in a high-volume call center environment (preferred but not essential)
  • A customer-focused and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to think creatively to achieve results
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work independently within a small team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and/or cloud-based CRM programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
