This is an exciting opportunity for a career driven and experienced Sales Manager to join our newly created Internal Mid-Market Sales team, leading the way and driving its overall success.

You will be based onsite in Carole Park and have 2 Internal Account Managers reporting to you. However, we have ambitious growth plans in mind for this new function so it's a unique opportunity for you to enhance and rapidly expand your team!

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Exceed targets for the Middle Market classification through effective sales management techniques
  • Formulate and implement effective sales strategies in conjunction with the regions
  • Manage the internal sales function in territories, leading a team of Internal Account Managers focused on exceeding benchmarks
  • Lead, coach and develop all members of the internal sales team, maximizing their effectiveness by ensuring superior sales, technical, and customer relationship building skills
  • Ensure territory CRM call cycles, plans, budgets and call reporting are in place and all team members are aware of and complying with company requirements
  • Plan, organise, and review product training sessions in conjunction with the Technical Manager and Technical team to leverage our customer service capabilities
  • Develop, maintain, and leverage strong customer relationships with existing and potential customers

To be successful, you will have:

  • Extensive sales experience, with a focus on people management, coaching and mentoring sales staff to ensure they are developing and meeting KPI’s
  • Prior experience with strategic customer planning and territory management
  • High level communication, collaboration, and relationship building skills
  • Strong business development instincts, with outstanding negotiation capabilities
  • Industry knowledge and/or experience highly regarded
