About the Role:
We’re seeking a compassionate and motivated Support Worker to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities. Your role will involve providing personalized care and support, fostering independence, and contributing to an inclusive society.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals in achieving personal goals and wellbeing in various settings (home, community, Aruma hubs, or respite houses).
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where each day is unique.
- Encourage skill development, community participation, and personal growth.
- Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility.
- Provide person-centred active support to foster independence and meet individual goals.
- Advocate for the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities.
- Ensure a safe environment for all.
