THE OPPORTUNITY

The position is responsible for the implementation of the sales activities across the nominated account package in accordance with Customer Team Business Strategy, operational business plans and the yearly order budgets for the region.

The positions major objectives are to:

  • Develop a close relationship with all key stakeholders, managers and staff across the nominated Account Package
  • Identify new opportunities across mining, utilities, tunnelling, heavy industrial and other identified industries
  • Plan and execute strategies using the Ampcontrol template Account Plan being maintained in the CRM
  • Develop and execute a ‘Call Plan’ for the nominated Account Package and log details in the CRM
  • Drive growth in the Ampcontrol business through achieving budgets for nominated Account Package.
  • Demonstrate CRM discipline in line with the ‘Absolute Minimum’ defined by the Balanced Scorecard for the Account Package
  • Engage with internal Ampcontrol Businesses to resolve issues and disputes with clients to a mutually satisfactory agreement.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Trade or Degree level qualifications in electrical and/or engineering or equivalent experience in appropriate field
  • Electrical industry and technical knowledge
  • Experience working within the electrical manufacturing sector supporting the mining and mineral processing, utilities, or heavy industrial industries
  • Demonstrated capacity to participate in the formulation of Account Plans.
  • Ability to build relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Well organised with ability to manage competing priorities
