About the role
We’re seeking a skilled PERU Operator to join our team based out of our Traralgon Depot.
In this hands-on role, you’ll support the construction and maintenance of overhead electrical networks. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include safely operating specialised plant and equipment, with a strong focus on boring holes and lifting power poles into position with the PERU Crane.

Key Responsibilities include
- Safely transport and deliver tracked equipment to project sites across all regions
- Completing risk assessments/job safety analysis prior to commencing work at each site
- Ensure vehicles and plant are maintained in accordance with compliance dates and operating hours
- Assist with site operations and equipment handling to meet project timelines to meet customer requirements
- Promptly report any incidents, hazards, or unexpected break downs
About You
You’ll bring hands-on experience from a similar field-based role and the capability to operate heavy machinery safely and confidently as well as
- Valid Heavy Combination Drivers Licence
- Current High Risk Work Licence with C2 endorsement & Elevated Work Platform
- OHS Construction Induction Card (White/Blue/Red card)
- Ability to travel and work away from home when required
- Work Safely in the electrical environment, knowledge and understanding of electrical legislation, codes and standards of practice
