About the role

We are currently searching for an experienced Scheduler to join our Underground Cables team based out of our Glen Waverley depot.

In this role, you will be responsible for assigning work programs to our Planning team, with a strong focus on supporting maintenance and fault-related tasks. You will play a key role in managing in-day jeopardies, maximising resource efficiency, and ensuring the seamless execution of field activities.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including rolling works in advance, as well as annual planning
  • Support fault response planning by prioritising critical works and rescheduling incomplete or disrupted tasks based on urgency and resource availability
  • Liaise with internal teams to coordinate maintenance activities and eliminate bottlenecks in maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to integrate their schedule into our works program, ensuring no major impact to our maintenance activities
  • Create and manage Notifications, Work Orders, and Work Completion Applications using SAP

About You

The successful applicant will have extensive experience scheduling in a similar high and low voltage environments with solid grasp of industry standard operating policies and procedures for Underground Electrical distribution systems

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to make accurate decisions under pressure
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, and planning package systems (preferred)
  • Certificate III ESI – Power Systems or equivalent (highly desirable)
  • Current Australian Driver’s licence
