About the role

We are seeking an experienced Works Planner (Works Ready Coordinator) to join our Cambridge depot.

In this role, you will scope Distribution Overhead works and provide leadership, organisation, and direction to ensure strong performance across people, safety, quality, and business outcomes. You will work closely with field teams to support planned and emergency activities while ensuring documentation, materials and workflow are effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and overseeing field-based activities across time, cost, quality, and safety requirements
  • Coordinating materials and subcontract services to meet schedule demands
  • Completing all required work documentation to a high standard
  • Liaising with team members and field crews to support operational goals
  • Applying conflict resolution techniques to prevent escalations

About You

You bring hands on experience across Distribution Systems and LV/HV work environments, supported by strong knowledge of industry operating policies and procedures, along with exposure to civil construction.

You understand compliance, risk, quality and operational requirements, enabling you to effectively support both field employees and organisational objectives.

You will bring:

  • Electrical Engineering Degree, Electrical Trade Qualification (or equivalent industry)
  • Knowledge of OHS&E principles and Australian Standards
  • Practical understanding of legal, financial, quality and risk management concepts
  • Experience using SAP, Word, Excel and planning software
