POSITION STATUS: Short Term Contract 0.6FTE (Leave coverage from 2nd March 2026 - 15th August 2026)

CLASSIFICATION: Depending on qualifications & experience.

QUALIFICATIONS: Current registration with the Nurses and Midwifery Board of Australia

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:

Essential

  • Clinical knowledge and skills related to acute, medical/surgical services, community nursing
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in an environment of change and continuous improvement
  • Experience working independently
  • Experience and confidence with Information Technology including use of mobile devices in the field
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage resources effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to provide an effective, high quality, nursing service
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across client, community and professional groups inclusive of skills to negotiate and manage conflicts which arise
  • Demonstrated understanding of health and related issues for elderly people, people with disabilities, and their carers
  • Current Drivers Licence

Desirable

  • Membership of relevant professional body.
  • Minimum two years’ experience.
  • Knowledge of and experience in quality improvement activities
