Yarrawonga Health is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Enrolled Nurse graduates to join our 12-month Enrolled Nurse Graduate Program, commencing February 2026.
This structured and supportive program offers rotations across Acute Services and Residential Aged Care Services, providing graduates with the opportunity to consolidate clinical skills, build confidence, and develop a strong foundation for a rewarding nursing career in rural health.
About the Graduate Program
The Enrolled Nurse Graduate Program is designed to:
- Increase confidence and strengthen your clinical skills base
- Develop your ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Enhance decision-making and critical thinking skills
- Support your transition into professional nursing practice
- Enable you to enjoy and build a sustainable nursing career
The program also includes supported professional development days, delivered alongside other graduate nurses within the region.
About the Role
The Enrolled Nurse is a clinical role responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, residents and clients of Yarrawonga Health, under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or appropriate supervisor.
Practice will be undertaken in line with the Enrolled Nurse scope of practice as defined by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. Clinical skills and knowledge will reflect the nurse’s level of training, any additional clinical endorsements (such as medication administration or advanced clinical skills training), and experience.
Please note: Clinical staff may be required to work across different areas of the service during periods of roster shortage.
Key Selection Criteria
Applicants must demonstrate:
- Achievement of Enrolled Nurse competencies as prescribed by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including National Health Reform, National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, and Aged Care Standards
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality clinical care in accordance with Yarrawonga Health policies, procedures and values
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to patient advocacy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
