About the role
Part time, 6-month opportunity with possible extension based in Leederville. You will support the Manager Procurement Governance and Systems in leading, managing, and ensuring the effective governance, development, and implementation of procurement and supply chain systems, applications, and processes. This position plays a key role in driving continuous improvement efforts to optimize system functionality and process efficiency, with a focus on the effective management of master data and promoting automation opportunities.
You will apply the supply chain governance process to identify opportunities for improvement that support business processes to deliver efficient and effective solutions that contribute to an automated and integrated digital supply chain.

What you can expect with this role
- Lead procurement system enhancements including upgrades, new technology adoption, and eProcurement implementations to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Establish and manage governance frameworks for inbound supply chains, ensuring compliance with procurement standards, internal policies, and external regulations.
- Drive data integrity and supplier data management by implementing best practices and leading data quality initiatives.
- Apply agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean, Kanban) and project management skills to support internal and external teams in delivering business process improvements.
- Analyse complex business needs and translate them into system requirements, while monitoring compliance with legislation, corporate policy, and ethical standards.
- Mitigate supply chain risks through robust risk management strategies, with a strong understanding of ESG impacts, including Modern Slavery and Critical Infrastructure Security
Your skills and experience
For this role, we are looking for great talent with:
- Sound knowledge of relevant Procurement regulatory requirements and codes of practice.
- Problem solving skills demonstrated in developing solutions to resolve issues and improve performance, reduce risk.
- Understand Supply Chain Risk and able to develop methodologies to identify and mitigate risks.
- Substantial experience in Source to Contract and Procure to Pay processes within a multi-faceted environment for goods and services.
- Experience in inventory management including material requirements planning and procurement activities.
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management.
