About the role

We have a permanent opportunity for a Senior Engineer - Electrical Field Support to join our engineering team based in Leederville. Reporting to the Team Leader - Mechanical & Electrical Field Support, you will provide engineering advice and support to customers from across the State, developing relationships and coordinating investigations on HV and LV assets,

What the role will involve

  • Undertake and coordinate investigations of HV and LV assets and systems
  • Provide specialist technical services
  • Carry out and manage inspection, testing and diagnostics
  • Provide specialist technical advice and guidance on the analysis of complex faults, failures and sub-optimal asset and system performance
  • Coordinate and undertake asset improvement projects, including minor design management as required

About you

You’ll have a degree in electrical engineering, or related discipline, with substantial experience with maintenance of electrical infrastructure assets. You’ll be a practical and self-motivated individual, comfortable with managing a work schedule that involves travel and coordination with customers and suppliers. The ability to work safely and reliably is critical. Knowledge of water and wastewater will be highly desirable. Your ability to collaborate, negotiate and influence with both internal and external stakeholders will ensure success in this role.
