As a Meter Reader, you’ll enjoy the freedom and flexibility to manage your own time, all while contributing to an essential service in your community.

What you’ll be doing

As a Meter Reader, your day will be active and varied. You’ll be:

  • Conducting meter readings and testing taps
  • Assisting with meter maintenance and identifying water-related issues
  • Reporting access problems and non-compliant water services
  • Reviewing meter reports and supporting customer enquiries

This role involves plenty of walking, often over 10km a day, so being physically fit is essential. You’ll be working independently, often outdoors in all weather conditions, and safety will always be your top priority.

  • You're local to Bunbury
  • You hold a WA Class C Driver’s Licence
  • You’re physically fit and able to walk over 10km a day
