Our client is a leading energy utility that generates, purchases, distributes and sells electricity. They are currently looking for a SAP Data & Analytics Consultant for their Burnaby location.
Overview:
Key role in production support of the BW/4HANA data flows, SAC and BOBJ reports
Work with the functional & technical consultants to design, develop, and deliver robust data & analytical solutions
Responsibilities:
- Perform integration, design, and implementation of various SAP business intelligence projects by determining business requirements and feasible technical options to support business operations in achieving client’s organizational objectives.
- Review functional specification documents and present the proposed technical design to the development leads for review using excellent analytical skills and communication skills to ensure that the design meets client’s business requirements.
- Develop sustainable SAP reporting solutions efficiently by following the architectural direction and technical design approved by the solution/technical lead so that projects are completed safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.
Education and Skills
- SAP relevant certificate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- A minimum of five (5) years of consulting experience in SAP BW 7.3 or higher or equivalent
- BW/4HANA certification and hands-on experience
- Demonstrated experience with HANA SQL modeling
- Experience with: SAP Analytics Cloud, Microsoft Power BI
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with: S4HANA, SAP Embedded Analytics
- Experience with: data management practices, data analytics, and self-serve data access
- Experience working in a scrum, agile environment
- Utility industry experience is an asset
