Your opportunity:

As a UX/UI Designer, you will help shape the customer experience vision across our digital ecosystem by designing and delivering solutions that support our customers’ end‑to‑end journeys—from online shopping through to self‑service and ongoing support.

You will bring strong knowledge of both local and global UX/UI best practices, along with a proven track record of delivering high‑quality project outcomes. In addition to contributing your own design deliverables, you will also provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

This role supports the TPG Telecom group of brands, including Vodafone, TPG, and iiNet.

You'll make impact by:

  • Drive a strategic, customer first approach to digital product experiences, ensuring solutions deliver strong customer sentiment and business outcomes.
  • Champion customer needs throughout product conversations and decision-making.
  • Shape the end-to-end‑ product experience by collaborating across Technology, Analytics, UX, Content, Digital Operations and cross functional‑ squads.
  • Consider both customer facing digital experiences and internal user needs such as customer service agents and logistics workflows.
  • Ensure UX processes are thoughtfully planned
  • Shape the organisation’s UX direction by driving strategic process evolution and contributing to long-term experience strategy.
  • Strengthen design maturity across the organisation by championing best practice methodologies and elevating team capability.
  • Mentor UX team members within squads.
  • Ensure all digital experiences meet WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards and identify opportunities for improvement.

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in digital delivery teams.
  • Degree in Design or equivalent UX qualification.
  • Strong end‑to‑end understanding of UX processes, design frameworks, and research methods.
  • Skilled in facilitation, workshop leadership, and design thought leadership.
  • Experience working across Agile, Waterfall, and mixed internal/external delivery models. Proven collaboration with cross‑functional partners (Product, Engineering, Content, Delivery, etc.).
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity, adapting to change, and designing within constraints.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and stakeholder management.
  • Proficient in producing research insights, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and information architecture.
  • Strong experience designing for responsive web and/or native mobile apps.
  • Data‑driven approach to problem‑solving.
  • Experience in innovation or technology‑focused projects.
  • High proficiency in Figma.

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Experience in Telco, Retail, Marketing, or consumer e‑commerce.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery environments and enterprise scale organisations.
  • Experience working with and contributing to large-scale design systems.
  • Exposure to analytics and research tools such as ContentSquare, UserZoom, or UserTesting.
