This Opportunity

The Prepaid Pricing Analyst is supports the Prepaid Product & Pricing team, who are responsible for the commercial performance TPG Telecom, which includes Vodafone Prepaid along with its Sub Brands of Lebara, Kogan Mobile, TPG & iiNet Mobile.

The role acts as a support function to translate data into actionable insights, helping identify trends in complex data sets that underpin decision making and support the identification of commercial opportunities and risks. This role is responsible for assisting with defining the Pricing strategy for Prepaid Mobile and its Sub Brands. This role works in multidisciplinary teams that include Sales, Finance, Product Management, Retail Marketing and Business Intelligence to develop market leading and commercially viable pricing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, develop and implement Pricing Campaigns across multiple Sales Channels and across multiple products / offers eg SIM Starter Packs, Device Pricing, Bonus Offers, Add On Tactical bonuses. This will involve the development of Business Cases, Financial Modelling and Commercial Analysis. This will include workings with Sales, Finance, Marketing and Legal and once a Campaign is approved develop Campaign Briefs for GTM (Go To Market) implementation.
  • PIR’s (Post Implementation Reviews) of campaigns to evaluate success, ROI and improvements for any subsequent campaigns. Support in the development of business cases, financial modelling, and commercial analysis in relation to key projects and growth initiatives. Regularly update stakeholders on findings and insights to provide business strategy.
  • Weekly Performance Reporting of Key Trade Activity ie Sales, Churn, Net Adds, Revenue and ARPU with key insights and commentary to support business results.
  • Monthly Analysis and Reporting of Business and Customer KPIs (customer growth, investment, profitability).
  • Analysis of large & complex data sets, to help identify patterns & trends to identify new trends, risks or opportunities for the business.
  • Possess excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills, including written & verbal communication.

Knowledge and experience

  • Experience in relevant or related industry pricing/commercial roles.
  • Degree qualified, ideally in Commerce, business or economics.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets. Exceptional analytical skills in data manipulation, development of financial models, commercial analysis; expert Excel skills required and previous experience in SQL / Tableau.
  • Outstanding influencing skills coupled with strong written and verbal communication.
