Your opportunity:

We’re looking for a Strategic Planning & Delivery Manager that champions seamless execution by enabling teams to deliver with clarity, accountability, and adaptability—ensuring that strategic intent translates into tangible outcomes. In this role, you’ll be the engine that keeps planning and delivery moving—ensuring clarity, accountability, and flow across multiple teams.

Working closely with the Senior Manager for Transformation Strategy & Planning a nd other stakeholders, the Strategic Planning & Delivery Manager ensures initiatives progress smoothly from planning to execution, with clear ownership and structured delivery paths. You’ll monitor product portfolio health, surface risks early, and create the conditions for teams to collaborate effectively, plan and deliver confidently and consistently. You'll make impact by:

Strategic Planning 

  • Strengthen the strategic planning across the assigned product portfolio, ensuring clear prioritisation and strong cross-functional alignment to portfolio objectives. 
  • Implement best-practice planning and prioritisation rhythms to streamline ways of working, improve clarity, and enhance delivery outcomes. 
  • Support cross-functional teams to develop integrated plans aligned to overall Consumer strategy, with clearly understood priorities across workstreams. 
  • Align integrated plans with wider Consumer portfolio (Transformation, SPE, XS, Digital), including KPI tracking and identification of performance gaps. 
  • Partner with Heads of to align delivery timelines with planning rhythms, including handoffs and dependency management across workstreams. 
  • Deliver other activities to support the broader Consumer Transformation and Planning portfolio. 

Execution Enablement and Risk Management 

  • Drive initiatives from planning through to execution, ensuring clear ownership, defined delivery pathways, and sustained momentum. 
  • Maintain strong planning and execution cadences through structured syncs, milestone tracking, and robust planning and prioritisation. 
  • Monitor portfolio health across workstreams, proactively surfacing blockers and enabling resolution. 
  • Manage risks and change effectively, enabling teams to adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining alignment to strategic intent. 
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to proactively resolve challenges, whilst creating a delivery culture that values quality, learning, and continuous improvement. 

What you’ll bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business-related discipline with formal Program Management accreditation 
  • Experience working in a matrix environment, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, business and technology stakeholders 
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining project plans, delivery roadmaps, and milestone schedules 
  • Experience in structured risk management practices, including maintaining RAID logs 
  • Proficiency in Jira (boards, workflows, dashboards) to manage delivery flow and track progress 
  • Strong skills in dependency mapping, milestone sequencing, and cross‑team coordination 
  • Experience in facilitating planning and delivery rituals, driving team alignment and empowerment 
  • Telco product portfolio and commercial knowledge highly desirable 
  • Project or Program Management Certification (e.g., Agile, Scrum Master) desired
