This opportunity

The Credit & Fraud Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the delivery of credit and fraud risk mitigation initiatives and projects providing analysis, insights and design expertise. This role will support deliverables across all TPG brands.

The Credit and Fraud Business Analyst will also assist in maximising revenue by reducing Bad Debt Write Offs through continued analysis and insights of Fraud, Never Pay and Bad debt across the consumer and commercial arms of our business. The role will support and work closely with the Senior Credit & Fraud Analyst and Credit & Fraud Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of solution designs for complex risk management centric projects.
  • Proactively identify, resolve, or escalate issues affecting the customer experience and lead improvement initiatives
  • Continually improve credit application process by addressing causes of rejection, manual checking, and rework by developing and revising credit decisioning rules
  • Complete investigations of fraud patterns and trends and recommend corrective actions

Knowledge and experience

  • Proven experience in a large organisation, spent as a business analyst or data analyst in a high-volume, highly automated risk management environment is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse large data sets using excel pivots, charts & formulas (V Lookup, Index match etc) and provide clear recommended corrective actions based on your insights.
  • Experience in SQL (Oracle, Teradata or SAS)
  • Understanding of telecommunication products and services preferred
