The Marketing Communications Manager – Base Value Growth is responsible for planning, governing, and optimising marketing strategies that drive sustainable ARPU growth and long‑term customer value across the existing mobile and fixed broadband customer base.
This role leads the strategic planning and performance management of lifecycle‑based value initiatives, with a particular focus on mobile rate‑plan optimisation, fixed product value growth, including the transition of eligible households from NBN to Fixed Wireless (FWA) and add on services.
The Marketing Communications Manager ensures lifecycle strategies remain insight‑led, commercially robust, compliant, and continuously optimised to deliver incremental and scalable value growth from the existing base.

- Develop and implement marketing communications strategies and plans that are aligned with the customer journey and trigger points that target specific stages of the Post-paid customer lifecycle adopting a test and learn mindset.
- Oversee the development of creative assets, including messaging, graphics, and content, that engage, grow, and retain customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product, sales, channel, and care to ensure effective and consistent messaging
- Collaborate with Legal to define and frequently review the approval processes to enable CLM to deliver communications fast to the consumer base
- Analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed to maximise commercial outcomes.
- Identify data driven opportunities to conduct experiments that can result in profitable commercial outcomes
- Collaborate with Product Owners and brand managers to understand business needs, contribute to the formulation of campaign solutions and align communication consistency across paid, owned and earned media
- Ensure efficiency, quality, and agility in execution across all touch points
- Abide by TPG Telecom policies and procedures in place and amended from time to time
Knowledge & Experience
- Over 5 years’ experience in Customer Communications or Marketing within Telecommunications, Financial Services or Retail industries.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated high credibility and interpersonal skills to work effectively with peers and senior leadership teams
- Deep understanding of the customer journey and experience, with a focus on customer growth.
- Analytical driven person with demonstrated record of using insights to improve customer experience and business outcomes
- Demonstrated experience of prioritising according to business KPIs and budget
- Innovative character keen to think out of the box in a pragmatic and systematic approach
- Familiarity with marketing technology and tools, such as marketing automation platforms and analytics software.
- Experience working with Next Best Action or Personalisation programs will be a plus
- Experience working with Confluence and Jira will also be a plus
