This opportunity
This role offers an exciting chance to be a part of a sales organisation tailored to a mobile-first enterprise. It’s an opportunity to innovate within the enterprise mobility space, improving the way our customers connect and work, further driving our position as a market leader in enterprise mobility.
You'll make impact by:
- Driving growth through disciplined prospecting and relationship management into whitespace customers
- Developing and implementing sales plans for TPG’s mobility suite including Enterprise Fleets, Mobile Enterprise Management, Managed Private Network and IOT.
- Achieving key monthly, quarterly and annual new business within the allocated portfolio.
- Maintaining up to date and accurate customer contact, pipeline and any other required information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, i.e. Salesforce.
Attend weekly sales team meetings to;
- Review quality and accuracy of Salesforce pipeline
- Review week on week sales activity and key pipeline movements
- Agree kick off and approach to any upcoming tenders and opportunities
- Review status of all active tenders
- Review short- and long-term Customer relationship quality and key relationship development activities
- Review open customer issues, actively assisting in resolutions and ensuring timely escalation (eg to Sales Leadership) wherever required
- Represent TPG at industry meetings and trade association events whenever requested, continually promoting the company and its services
- Keep track on local competitor activity, reporting any significant developments to the sales team and TPG executives (including Sales, Product, Service etc).
- Co-operate with cross functional leaders within TPG to increase the value the company delivers to all its customers.
Key Competencies
- Highly experienced in using a “business solutions” type approach, utilising TPG’s product and services to identify customer needs within the portfolio.
- Able to creatively position TPG as an innovative, flexible and responsive service provider to customers.
- Ability to proactively identify and create growth opportunities within the allocated customer base.
- Strong knowledge of TPG Products and Services and ability to present the value to Customers.
- Proven cultivator and ‘closer’ of sales opportunities at the Enterprise organisation level
- Strong understanding of how to penetrate Enterprise level accounts up to and including C level
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, including at C level
- Excellent presentation skills.
- High work ethic and mature attitude to general work responsibilities
Type of Contacts
- Internal: executive management, sales management, sales team, bid management, pre-sales engineering, provisioning, operations and customer service.
- External: customers, up to and including C level, business partners, Solution Integrators etc.
What you'll bring:
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent desirable; relevant industry certifications are a plus.
- Over five years in enterprise sales, with a strong record of exceeding targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Salesforce; familiarity with TPG’s proprietary systems and other industry-specific tools is advantageous.
- Deep understanding of TPG’s business, market sectors, and competitive landscape.
- Strong expertise in Mobility, Messaging, IoT, and Managed Private Network (MPN) solutions.
- Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies tailored to enterprise clients.
- Skilled in identifying customer needs and positioning TPG as a flexible, innovative provider.
- Experienced in managing high-value, multi-million-dollar portfolios across acquisition, retention, and growth.
- Demonstrated success in C-level engagement and enterprise account penetration.
- Strong grasp of political and economic factors influencing the telecom industry and customer decision-making.
