Your opportunity:

The Manager, Analytics, Reporting and Performance is a pivotal role responsible for developing and managing reporting, insights, and analytics that provide transparency and confidence across our Strategy and Roadmap.

This individual will ensure alignment between strategy, roadmap execution, and budget priorities, while maintaining the integrity of data and overseeing frameworks that track progress, key metrics, and benefit realisation. A critical aspect of the role is navigating competing priorities and complex challenges to maintain clarity and enable informed decision-making. The Manager will design and deliver reporting for executives, governance forums, and the Board, providing visibility of dependencies, constraints, and the overall state of the plan. They will also oversee Post-Implementation Reviews (PIRs), support governance processes, and work closely with initiative owners to identify risks, resolve issues, and intervene when outcomes are at risk.

Success in this role requires strong analytical capability, creativity in data visualisation, and the ability to translate complex delivery information into actionable insights for diverse audiences. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and creative problem solver, highly collaborative, and adept at balancing roadmap and budget priorities to drive organisational performance.

You'll make impact by:

Initiative Performance & Outcomes Enablement

  • Ensuring all initiatives have consistent and documented defined clear outcomes, benefits, metrics, and measurement approaches.
  • Monitoring initiative performance, benefits realisation, and metrics (Strategic and non-Strategic) with disciplined, consistent tracking.
  • Identifying risks, blocked value, delivery variances, and emerging issues early; surface dependencies and constraints that may impact outcomes.
  • Partnering with Finance to ensure initiatives aligned to budget, regulatory, or operational drivers are tracked with equal rigour and reflected in reporting.
  • Maintaining alignment between roadmap and budget, escalating decision points to protect benefit realisation.
  • Stepping in when outcomes or tracking are offtrack; partner with SPE team to capture root cause analysis.
  • Proposing and facilitating remediation plans and support initiative owners to restore confidence and momentum.
  • Tracking corrective actions to closure and confirm improvements in performance, benefits, and risk posture are sustained.

Continuous Improvement, PIRs & Learning Loops

  • Designing, running and managing PIRs for major initiatives; validate whether intended outcomes and benefits have been realised.
  • Consolidating PIR insights to identify systemic issues, process gaps, and improvement opportunities; translate learnings into updated standards, expectations, governance inputs, and planning assumptions.
  • Converting PIR findings into backlog items and corrective actions with clear owners, timelines, and measures of success.
  • Driving variance and dependency management across initiatives surface risks to benefit delivery early and facilitate cross functional actions with initiative owners.
  • Identifying opportunities to automate processes and expand self-service reporting capabilities to reduce manual effort and increase reliability.

Strategy & Roadmap Visual Storytelling

  • Creating clear, compelling, and interactive dashboards, reports, and presentations tailored to the needs of executives, finance teams, workstream leads, and governance forums.
  • Designing integrated dashboards that connect strategy with roadmap progress, benefits, and interlocked to provide a holistic portfolio picture.
  • Structuring reporting to align with different governance methodologies to support decision making discussions.
  • Transforming complex data into actionable insights using advanced visualisation techniques to enhance understanding, prioritisation, and trade-off clarity.

Executive & Leadership Reporting

  • Producing ELT, and Board ready materials that distil complexity into clear status, options, implications, and recommendations.
  • Translating portfolio performance into realised value, blocked value, and proposed actions to protect or accelerate outcomes.
  • Responding to ad hoc executive reporting needs with speed, precision, and relevance, ensuring coherence with underlying initiative and roadmap data.
  • Maintaining a single source of truth for leadership reporting, ensuring consistency, traceability, and confidence in the information presented.

Data, Metrics & Reporting Foundations

  • Owning the Strategy Metric KPI dictionary, metric definitions, calculation logic, baselines, targets, and reporting cadence; prevent metric drift and ensure consistent interpretation across teams.
  • Partnering with Finance to ensure, alignment on the cadence of changes, and integrity of source data and tooling.
  • Driving automation and tooling improvements to reduce manual effort, improve reliability, and enhance timeliness of reporting.
  • Ensuring data quality, completeness, and consistency across all reporting artefacts, audits, and governance inputs; implement controls that safeguard data integrity.
  • Managing “metrics that matter” process with Finance ensuring accuracy and timely completion of all inputs.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field
  • 5–7 years’ experience in analytics, reporting, BI or performance management.
  • Strong foundation in data governance.
  • Expertise in data visualisation tools with ability to create integrated views.
  • Experienced in driving collaborative problem-solving and learning loops.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights.
  • Experience in diagnosing issues and leading collaborative problem solving.
  • Track record of driving automation and self-service reporting.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of planning and governance frameworks.
  • Highly resilient, adaptable and thrives in dynamic work environments.
