Your opportunity:

As a Learning Specialist you will provide end-to-end capability development across the organisation, from soft skills to product knowledge, you will have the opportunity to develop learning solutions in a variety of formats and scale. Through consultation, needs analysis, instructional design, evaluation and continuous improvement of learning solutions, you will help equip employees with the skills, knowledge, experience and tools to achieve their business goals.

This role is highly consultative, with key engagement points being the Capability Design & Delivery Manager, Capability Business Partners, specialists across the broader Capability Team and wider Customer & People Experience Team. You’ll also take this consultative approach across our business, working with a wide variety of stakeholder groups and diverse sales and care channels.

You'll make impact by:

  • Consulting – Training Needs Analysis 
  • Collaborate within the Capability Team to design and develop learning solutions that meet agreed learning and business outcomes.
  • Consult with identified stakeholders to analyse, develop and deliver all skills development requirements.
  • Identify Product, Process, System, Compliance skills/knowledge gaps.
  • Evaluate deployment outcomes and coordinate any additional support requirements. Negotiate delivery dates, costs or dependencies.
  • Project Management 
  • Develop roadmap and milestones to ensure capability and learning initiatives are deployed on time and within any agreed budget - facilitate agreement and sign-off with a ‘training scope’ document.
  • Maintain and enhance all learning solutions and strategies.
  • Ensure all capability and learning material is designed in line with Capability Team standards and the company brand voice guidelines.
  • Design and Deliver Learning Solutions: Digital + Facilitated 
  • Utilise adult learning and instructional design principles to develop both digital and facilitated learning solutions.
  • Continually manage risk through stakeholder and legal sign-off process.
  • Build sustainable, ongoing cost and time-efficient solutions.
  • Deliver innovative and highly engaging development programs.
  • Manage the successful deployment of learning solutions.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in online design and/or facilitation
  • TAE 40110 / TAA 40104 (Cert 4 in Training).
  • Telecommunications or Retail/Sales/Contact Centre experience is desired but not essential.
  • Sound knowledge of Instructional Design and adult learning principles.
  • Strong facilitation skills, both in-person and virtual.
  • Working knowledge of e-learning authoring software (Articulate preferred).
  • Ability to build solid working relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
  • Flexibility to travel on occasion as required.
