Your opportunity:

We’re seeking a senior sales leader with deep expertise in wholesale mobile to drive growth and shape the future of connectivity at TPG Telecom.

The Senior Manager, Wholesale Mobile Partnerships is accountable for the sustainable growth of the business, including MVNO and wholesale messaging services and customers. This role reports directly to Head of Mobile Wholesale and plays a pivotal role in shaping TPG Telecom’s wholesale mobile strategy.

This role will establish TPG Telecom as the brand to work with for wholesale mobile. You will create compelling propositions for brands and Partners and develop our customer base to ensure business plan targets are met in line with the budget and Long-Range Plan. You will work closely with a cross-functional team comprised of commercial and operations and collaborate with legal, technology, and finance to develop business plans and strategies, build relationships with new brands and partners, and grow market share in the MVNO and wholesale messaging segments. This role will play a critical leadership role across MVNO and wholesale messaging by providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure strategies are implemented. You will be responsible for sales growth resulting in exceeding sales targets. Your drive and strong leadership skills will encourage employee engagement and strong cross-functional collaboration.

You'll Make Impact By

  • Define and implement priority initiatives to drive sales results. Ensure we always have a rich pipeline of prospects. Work closely not only within the wholesale mobile team but also cross-functionally with other key business units to ensure the agreed processes are implemented and followed.
  • ·Enput in the sales strategy plan and work closely with commercial to ensure the relevant verticals are identified and the right propositions are developed. Be active in meeting customers and prospects along with the core team and act as the first layer of escalation.
  • Ensure alignment in approach with global customers and clarity of the pipelines locally and at Vodafone Group level. Ensure that we capitalize on the wholesale mobile and messaging opportunities in this market.
  • Monitor recurrently the sales pipeline, work closely with the commercial operations and finance to provide forecasts and updates.
  • Responsible for sales targets on new wholesale mobile and messaging partners in terms of revenue and number of services.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders, internal and external business partners. Cooperate with cross-functional leaders within TPG Telecom to increase the value the company delivers to all its customers. During all business dealings with both internal and external stakeholders, consistently display behaviours that align with TPG Telecom's corporate values.
  • Report significant developments that are relevant to the sales teams and the TPG Telecom executives.
  • Identify and lead improvement opportunities within the team, as well as ensure appropriate controls are in place to manage risks, including the protection of TPG Telecom systems and information.
  • Always be on the lookout to improve the way we work, and speak up with suggestions for a better way, with the aim of exceeding our customers’ expectations.
  • Plan your work and be ready to take advantage of the opportunities and risks that come with our ever-changing industry.
  • Protect the brand, reputation, and profitability of TPG by maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of its information assets and information systems.

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum 10+ years in B2B telco sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or strategic sales role.
  • Strong leadership with proven ability to encourage, motivate, and influence positive performance results and behaviors of team members.
  • Highly experienced in using a “business solutions” type approach, utilizing TPG’s product and services to identify customer needs and sell into applicable market sectors.
  • Able to creatively position TPG as an innovative, flexible, and responsive service provider.
  • Ability to proactively identify and create new business growth opportunities.
  • Proven cultivator and ‘closer’ of sales opportunities working closely with wholesale mobile and messaging partners, including comfortable working with C-level executives.

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and market analysis.
