Your opportunity:
As our valued Network Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting the design, validation, and integration of enterprise core network solutions that drive innovation and operational excellence. You’ll draw on your expertise in IP/MPLS technologies, network automation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality network designs, technical assurance, and support for internal stakeholders and product development teams.
You'll make an impact by:
- Producing high-level and low-level designs, implementation plans, network diagrams, and test documentation to support new and existing network solutions.
- Providing technical assurance and guidance to internal teams, including training and support for sales and product development.
- Leading research and development initiatives to support business growth and innovation.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including IP support, product, and customer operations to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Supporting network automation and governance, including eBGP policy, MEF standards, and anti-DDoS strategies.
What you’ll bring:
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE are preferred, or equivalent certificate from Juniper or Alcatel Lucent
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in an operational network engineering role, with at least 2 years in an ISP environment.
- Strong technical skills in IPv4/IPv6, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, QoS, and related protocols and technologies.
- Experience with Cisco and Fortinet platforms, and proficiency in network troubleshooting and documentation.
Ideally, you will also have:
- Experience with automation scripting for network data extraction and reporting.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP) and network systems (DNS, DHCP, Tacacs, Syslog).
- Strong interpersonal and project management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
