This opportunity

The Senior Strategic Product Lead for Fixed is responsible for leading a team of skilled product managers. Their role includes setting the annual product roadmap, managing compliance with regulations, and ensuring improvements to customer experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive strategies that impact the product direction across Vodafone, TPG, and iiNet’s Fixed portfolios.

Responsibilities

  • Overall, leading the holistic product plan by Brand for the Fixed portfolio, including but not limited to NBN, Fixed Wireless Access, Vision Networks, hardware and multi-service bundles, across all group brands, Vodafone, TPG, iiNet et al.
  • Leading and driving recommendations for pricing and proposition, new features/product launches, regulatory and code compliance and any planned activities to stimulate growth (acquisition and retention) and/or manage profitability and risk, in collaboration with key stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, CLM, Operations and the wider Fixed Product team, delivery and insights.
  • Monitoring the competitive market and positioning of TPG Group brands and provide recommendations around improving our market share and positioning.
  • Coaching and developing direct report/s.
  • Support and coach the wider Fixed Product team to ensure budget and commercial outcomes are factored into all decisions.

Knowledge and experience

  • 10 years’ experience in product, commercial or business-related field.
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in building business models.
  • Strong communication / presentation skills coupled with strong written and verbal communication.
  • Strong people leadership skills with focus on coaching for high performance.
  • Ability to deal with rapid change and quick pace with resilience and a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills, with strong stakeholder impact and influence skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Previous Telecommunications experience preferrable.
  • Degree qualified, ideally in business, marketing fields.
