Your opportunity:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Roaming and Intercarrier Coordinator to manage and optimize our international roaming and interconnect operations. This role is critical in ensuring seamless connectivity for our subscribers across global networks and maintaining strong relationships with international carriers and partners.

You'll make impact by:

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for voice interconnect, IDD and roaming partners.
  • Supporting in negotiating and managing voice interconnect, IDD and roaming agreements, including pricing and SLAs.
  • Manage the annual IDD and Interconnect budgets involving identifying and delivering incremental cost savings in the current financial year with carrier partners, both domestic and international.
  • Resolving intercarrier disputes and billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Collaborating with finance and legal teams on contract management and settlements.
  • Working with internal stakeholders such as Technology & Regulatory to understand requirements/impacts etc of new projects or impending regulatory/industry changes and support the implementation.
  • Coordinate the implementation and testing of new roaming agreements
  • Monitor roaming traffic, quality, and performance KPIs to ensure optimal user experience.
  • Manage roaming fraud prevention and resolution in collaboration with internal security teams.
  • Maintain and update roaming databases and documentations
  • Support the launch of new services (e.g., VoLTE roaming, 5G roaming).
  • Coordinate with technical teams for testing and troubleshooting of interconnect and roaming issues.
  • Prepare regular reports on roaming usage, revenue, and partner performance.
  • Support and document E2E processes and improvement initiatives.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in roaming, interconnect, or carrier relations within a telecom environment.
  • Strong understanding or willingness to learn GSMA standards and roaming/interconnect protocols.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and telecom billing systems.
