This opportunity

The Senior Manager of Growth, and Next Best Action plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and execution of initiatives to grow and retain customers throughout their lifecycle and deliver personalised offers at scale through the Next Best Action program.

By leading a team of marketing professionals and collaborating cross-functionally, this role is responsible for developing and implementing data-driven strategies that maximise customer lifetime value.

This role leads the work with the Data Centre of Excellence to leverage data insights, predictive analytics, and machine learning techniques to identify Next Best Actions for customers to enhance customer retention and revenue growth by providing tailored recommendations that resonate with different customer segments. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a high-performing team of three, promoting professional growth and development. Set clear goals and expectations, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback and support to maximise team effectiveness
  • Develop and implement innovative customer Growth and NBA strategies aligned with company goals, market trends, and customer insights. Provide visionary leadership to the team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence
  • Lead the development and execution of growth initiatives and NBA propositions to cross-sell and retain customers, leveraging insights from data analysis and customer behaviour
  • Lead the strategic planning, development, and optimisation of the Next Best Action (NBA) proposition framework across the CLM postpaid team to drive customer retention and business growth
  • Define decisioning rules that prioritise NBA recommendations based on customer value, business goals ensuring the most relevant recommendations are presented to customers
  • Lead the investigation of commercial variances, identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in the data, models or processes that could impact the effectiveness of the NBA propositions. Make recommendations and own the action plan to make improvement

Knowledge and experience

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high performance teams
  • Strong background in Data-driven Marketing with demonstrated record of extracting meaningful data and using insights to support decisions to improve customer experience and drive business outcomes
  • Proficiency in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization to draw actionable insights
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to execute initiatives that deliver marketing effectiveness and positive commercial impacts
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented with a passion for customer-centric marketing
  • Experience in marketing and customer lifecycle management. preferably in the telecommunications, financial, or membership-based industries
