Your opportunity:

The Technical Platform Manager is accountable for the end-to-end technical ownership, evolution, and operational health of the Customer Experience Intelligence Platforms (Mobile & Fixed).

These platforms ingest multi-source operational and customer data, transform it into experience indicators and enable proactive detection, insight generation, and actioning to improve customer outcomes.

This role bridges Operations, Engineering, Data, Architecture, and Business stakeholders, ensuring that the platforms operate reliably today while continuously evolving toward a scalable, modern, and automation-driven architecture.

Unlike a traditional Product Owner, this role treats the platform as a technical product, owning its architecture integrity, technical roadmap, service performance, and engineering maturity.

You'll make impact by:

Owning the platforms as systems of record for Customer Experience intelligence, across:

  • Data ingestion (MFT, streaming, batch)
  • Data engineering pipelines (S3, Glue, Airflow)
  • Warehousing & modelling (Redshift / SAS environments)
  • Indicator computation (e.g., MEXI overall)
  • Insight layers supporting operational and business actions

Platform Ownership & Architecture

  • End-to-end technical accountability for the CX Intelligence platforms (Mobile & Fixed)
  • Maintain architectural coherence across AWS-based and SAS-based stacks
  • Identify bottlenecks, tech debt, reliability gaps, and scalability constraints
  • Propose and drive architectural improvements aligned with enterprise standards
  • Ensure observability, resilience, and maintainability of platform components

Data & Engineering Leadership

  • Lead engineering squads responsible for ingestion, transformation, modelling and indicator logic
  • Oversee data quality, lineage, integrity and processing reliability
  • Define engineering standards for pipelines, scheduling, orchestration and storage
  • Promote automation and reduce manual interventions across the platform lifecycle

Operations & Service Reliability

  • Own platform stability, availability and performance KPIs
  • Lead resolution of incidents impacting platform processing or data integrity
  • Establish monitoring, alerting and runbooks
  • Ensure PIRs translate into systemic fixes and architectural improvements

Platform Strategy & Evolution

  • Define and maintain the technical roadmap of the platforms as products
  • Balance short-term operational needs with long-term platform scalability
  • Identify opportunities for convergence, simplification and modernization
  • Ensure platforms remain aligned with enterprise integration and data strategies

Stakeholder & Cross-Domain Alignment

  • Act as the primary technical interface between Operations, Architecture, Data, and Business teams
  • Translate business experience goals into platform capabilities
  • Work with domain architects to ensure alignment with enterprise patterns
  • Communicate platform performance, risks, and evolution plans to senior stakeholders

KPIs Ownership

  • Data pipeline success rates & processing SLAs
  • Platform availability & incident frequency
  • Data quality & completeness metrics
  • Indicator timeliness and reliability (e.g., MEXI availability)
  • Reduction of recurring platform-related incidents
  • Automation coverage across processing flows

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build and develop a high-performing data/platform engineering team
  • Establish clear ownership models and decision rights
  • Mentor engineers in platform thinking, not just task execution
  • Foster a culture of accountability, reliability and technical excellence

What you’ll bring:

  • 10+ years in engineering, data platforms or large-scale technology environments
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS data services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Airflow)
  • Data pipeline architecture and orchestration
  • Experience operating production-grade platforms, not just delivering projects
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and drive engineering maturity
  • Strong understanding of platform reliability, monitoring, and incident management
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholder domains (Ops, Engineering, Business)

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Experience with analytics/indicator platforms
  • Exposure to SAS environments or hybrid data stacks
  • Understanding of integration patterns (batch, streaming, MFT)
  • Familiarity with telecom operational data environments
