This opportunity

The Manager Analytics & Implementation is a key role in the central office. This role is accountable for facilitating the roadmap planning and prioritisation for initiatives, key point of support for the program management tool and all reporting to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and business units. The manager is required to work closely with key stakeholders including the Workstream Leads across our company, Finance business partners and planning leads to ensure alignment and efficiency of roadmap planning and prioritisation process. 

Responsibilities

Business owner of TPG’s Spring management platform 

  • Ensure effective onboarding and training for new Wave users on the Spring management platform.
  • Provide ongoing expertise and support to address user questions and concerns promptly.
  • Lead system training sessions to coach team members on maximizing platform utilization.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues and functional glitches with third-party support team assistance.
  • Offer project management support to all user groups, managing tool updates and changes for process improvements.

Insights and Reporting

  • Drive progress to plan by providing insights, reports, and dashboards highlighting TPG's plan progress.
  • Develop reports and dashboards, combining information from various platforms and teams to maximize insights related to the roadmap and portfolio.
  • Provide analysis and performance reports against workstreams, strategic drivers, and initiatives.
  • Work with workstream leads to monitor and perform quality control/audits on initiative data.
  • Identify opportunities for automation to streamline and minimize manual preparation tasks 

Support planning sequencing and prioritisation process and pipeline management.

  • Supervise the submission of essential data for Sequencing and Prioritization, ensuring it's timely, valid, complete, and accurate.
  • Coordinate and manage Sequencing and Prioritization processes efficiently.
  • Partner with workstream leads to ensure effective prioritization of initiatives, meeting all requirements.
  • Facilitate review sessions to align the roadmap with workstreams and leadership.
  • Manage detailed data, calculations, and analysis of Sequencing and Prioritization progress and outcomes.
  • Consolidate an organization-wide prioritized list of initiatives to align with key strategic demands.

Link plan to strategy, budget and finance processes

  • Collaborate with Finance and Strategy leads to ensure alignment between Sequencing and Prioritization with the annual budget process.
  • Assist in integrating initiative financial costs and benefits into budgeting and planning processes.
  • Provide support to Financial Business Partners (FBPs) in navigating and completing financial validations within the Program Management Tool.
  • Work closely with FBPs to address any reporting and data requirements from the Program Management Tool.

Perform other duties as assigned

  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with direct management, workstreams, and planning teams to uphold disciplined governance, promoting a performance-driven culture and rhythm.
  • Provide timely assistance in addressing ad hoc queries, conducting analyses, and fulfilling requests.
  • Take an active role in driving and supporting specific projects and process improvements within the Spring team, contributing to ongoing enhancements and efficiencies.

Knowledge and experience

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a financial manager, planning or in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, or accounting.
  • Strong data and analytics skills – Advanced knowledge of Excel required, proficiency in PowerBI, PowerPoint, and ERP systems a plus.
  • Project management certification or working towards qualification.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good interpersonal and coaching skills, detail oriented, self-motivated, and organised.
  • Good communication and presentation skills – verbal and oral.
  •  Excellent quantitative analytical skills.
  • Commercial understanding of, or interest in, the telecommunications sector, its revenue and cost drivers and general business strategy highly desirable.
