What’s the opportunity?
The 1800RESPECT Project Officer will support the planning, execution, and completion of 1800RESPECT projects and review and development of contract documentation. This role will play a critical part in the successful delivery of new and existing projects, whilst contributing to the ongoing development and adherence to robust project governance structures and processes.
Please note, this is a full-time fixed term contract for 12 months.
About the role:
Support the delivery of new and existing 1800RESPECT projects and contract documentation to ensure all objectives are met within agreed scope and timeline. Including:
- Planning, implementing, and monitoring of project activities. Ensure all team members are informed and tasks are completed on schedule.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of project plans, including timelines, resource allocations and risk management strategies.
- Monitoring project progress, tracking key milestones, and preparing status reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with 1800RESPECT leadership and delivery teams, and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication, alignment on project goals, and effective issue resolution.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including plans, reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Perform routine administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes and actions and managing correspondence.
- Identify potential risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the project team, implementing lessons learned and promoting innovative solutions.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously, meeting timeframes associated with key deliverables as required.
About you:
Essential:
- A degree in project management, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience in Stakeholder mapping and engagement
- Previous experience in a project management role, with a proven track record of successfully delivery of complex projects.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to maintain contractual and project documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
