A Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for creating and delivering a positive experience for any person that comes into contact with TBWA. This includes all applicants, candidates, employees, hiring managers, the agency, yourself... even external recruiters.

We want to create culturally connected employees that drive business change, and we can do this by concentrating on the experience people have when connecting with you, our Talent Acquisition Manager.

The outcome of doing this correctly will:

  • Help us achieve greater productivity and outperform our competitors;
  • Improve manager capability to drive team performance;
  • Help us attract and retain key talent, savings on recruitment costs; and
  • Develop a workforce that adapts and performs during change.

Ultimately you are responsible for the employee lifecycle from first interaction. You will act as the Talent Manager for TBWA Australia & New Zealand

THE TASK AT HAND

The day-to-day duties that make up the core function of your role are as follows:

Recruitment:

  • Hire for all departments & brands across ANZ: strategy/business management/creative/public relations/production and corporate service teams.
  • Manage the end-end recruitment process: from advertising, pre-screening and selection, organising interviews and completing background checks through to making final offer
  • Effectively managed and collaborate with the Talent Coordinator to assist with hiring needs and talent pooling
  • The ‘go-to’ for all new hiring requests, acting as a conduit of information
  • Responsible for closing senior level candidates and negotiating complex compensation packages
  • Partner with key business stakeholders & hiring managers around candidate attraction, new hires and retention
  • Manage third party recruitment relations, updating preferred supplier list and negotiating terms of business
  • Talent pooling prospective employees to ensure proactive hiring practices

Projects:

  • Evolving the applicant tracking system to ensure greater candidate usability
  • Onboarding and training hiring managers to use the system
  • Providing support to hiring managers on salary insights/market rates and benchmark across
  • the agencies
  • Assist with recruiting for client secondments
  • Working with senior stakeholders & hiring managers to drive a performance culture

Immigration:

  • Partner closely with immigration account managers
  • Submit immigration requests/enquiries for current and prospective employees
  • Adhere to labour market testing requirements

Onboarding:

  • Approve freelance requests, set up all new starters to onboarding in correspondence with IT and payroll
  • Welcome new starters and organise first day packages

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO TBWA

  • 7+ years experience in recruitment in the creative advertising industry; either agency side or internal
  • Experience working with senior leadership and driving hiring initiatives, ensuring processes are followed
  • Solid understanding using applicant tracking systems and implanting them across the business
  • Previous experience dealing with immigration and keeping abreast of the ever changing vis landscape
  • Experience managing a small team
  • Ability to work under pressure, work to tight deadlines, manage multiple roles and remain
  • calm under pressure
