Environmental Service Assistant

About the Role

Environmental Service Assistants hold a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment at Tallangatta Health Service.

As an Environmental Service Assistant you will conduct general cleaning functions across our staff and consumer facilities to ensure a safe, comfortable and hygienic environment. This will include vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens and basic laundry tasks.

Part of a small but mighty team, Environmental Service Assistants engage with consumers and staff as tasks are carried out across residential Aged Care rooms, common areas and offices. A friendly demeanor and can-do attitude will prove a great basis for success.

Positions are now available for casual or part time (up to 0.6EFT) employees. Shifts are spread across a seven-day roster from Monday to Sunday, between the hours of 7:00am and 8:00pm.

About you

You are motivated and want to make a difference in the lives of our consumers, and to support them to live life to their potential, you will also have the following;

• Previous experience in cleaning desirable, but not mandatory.
• Ability to be flexible, demonstrate initiative and work effectively in a team environment
• Adaptable to change and have a commitment to continuous quality improvement

All appointments are made subject to the required security screening including National Criminal History, NDIS Worker Screening checks and an immunisation status appropriate to the role.
