About the role
We are inviting applications from qualified and unqualified candidates to join our My Community Home Care (MCHC) team in the role of Health Care Worker.
As a Community Health Care Worker, you will provide person-centred care, assisting our consumers to remain living independently in their own homes by providing assistance with domestic and personal care, social support, respite, and transport.
Our service areas include Bethanga, Bellbridge, Dartmouth, Eskdale, Mitta Mitta and Tallangatta. Within close proximity to Albury/Wodonga, you can enjoy some of north-east Victoria’s beautiful scenery while travelling between clients in company supplied vehicles.
This is a Monday to Friday role and requires a current First Aid certificate or a willingness to obtain.

About you
You are passionate about what you do and want to support our consumers to live life to their potential. you also hold the following:
Certificate III in Individual Support/ Aged Care or equivalent is desirable but not mandatory
- A clear and strong commitment to the providing quality care to our Consumers/Residents
- Strong communication and consumer service skills
- Well developed interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and problem solve
- Able to comprehend and follow written instructions and procedures
- Motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment and independently
- Current Drivers License
All appointments are made subject to the required security screening including National Criminal History, NDIS Worker Screening checks and an immunisation status appropriate to the role, including the annual Influenza vaccination.
