About the role:
Lead the delivery of accurate, market-aligned cost estimates across a portfolio of projects, while developing and managing estimating systems, tools, and data. Provide expert cost advice and assurance to support planning, decision-making, and consistent outcomes across the project lifecycle.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and manage a high-performing team of estimators
- Deliver accurate, timely cost estimates and pricing across all project phases
- Develop and maintain estimating systems, processes and benchmarking data
- Provide cost advice, optioneering and risk/contingency assessments to support decisions
- Drive continuous improvement through market analysis, post-project reviews and best practice
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Extensive experience delivering project cost estimates across the full lifecycle of civil infrastructure projects
- Strong leadership capability, with experience managing and developing high-performing technical teams
- Advanced analytical, financial and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Proven ability to develop systems, processes and standardised estimating frameworks
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills, supported by relevant qualifications in engineering, quantity surveying or construction management
