An exciting opportunity has become available for a Change Specialist to join Change and Business Improvement team within Sydney Water.

The primary objective of this role is to deliver high-quality change analysis that supports the development and implementation of change management plans that drive tangible business value and foster change.

You will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, Change Champions, and SMEs, to create and deliver change management plans and activities aligned with the change management framework.

In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, this role plays a crucial part in delivering exceptional stakeholder and impact analysis, as well as driving successful change outcomes to ensure the effective delivery of the program. Working closely with the Senior Change Lead, you will identify change impacts, risks, and mitigation plans throughout the entire duration of the change program.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the implementation of agreed change management activities and tactics.
  • Change planning, reporting and facilitation – analysis workshops, health checks, risks, and dependencies workshops, change champions and super user workshops etc. 
  • Development and delivery of key change artefacts, including but not limited to status reports, change analysis results and recommendations briefing packs, dashboards, and reports.
  • Partner closely with other program team members and Senior Change lead to ensure the delivery of a tailored and effective business readiness and change experience.

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience as a change analyst/ change manager for medium to large change initiatives with responsibility for activities outlined above. 
  • Experience in developing change analysis and executing change plans within projects and/or program environments. 
  • Strong communication, engagement, and facilitation skills 
  • Experience working effectively with all organisational levels as well as delivering presentations and influencing outcomes at middle and senior manager level 
  • Prosci and/or Change Management Institute Practitioner accreditation, or other certification deemed equivalent highly desirable. 

Essential Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Change Management, Project Management Business Analysis, Data and Analytics, or Business-related discipline or equivalent experience.
