Guest Services Officer - Corporate Services

  • Full time, permanent role.
  • Based in Parramatta & Potts Hill– with requirement to travel to sites across Greater Sydney.
  • Work a rotating shift roster.
  • $76,480.50 + super

About the role

The Guest Services Officer will provide quality and efficient administration and coordination services contributing to a multi-skilled, engaged, and flexible Tenancy Services team that fulfils issues, requests and tasks effectively, achieving customer and business outcomes.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Deliver customer-centric, high-quality and efficient guest services to Sydney Water staff.
  • Answer all requests, calls, and queries in a professional manner through various systems and face to face interactions.
  • Organise car parking and manage the Loading Dock, including contractor management.
  • Complete regular floor and site walks for safety, cleanliness, minimum standards and compliance, logging any issues for rectification.
  • Greet, sign in and assist visitors and guests in a professional manner.
  • Support the Tenancy Services team manager with internal communication.
  • Meeting room and events coordination across various sites, preparation of weekly meeting room schedules including set-up, clean-up, interaction with guests and organisers to ensure all details have been covered prior to date of event.
  • Monitoring stock levels of consumables across various sites and replenishing as required.
  • Identify and assist in the implementation of initiatives to improve user experience.

About you

This role is seeking a customer centric individual with previous demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced role requiring you to multitask and prioritise workloads.

You will have excellent customer service skills and knowledge of various computer applications, requiring a team member with the following skills:

  • Diploma in Facilities Management, Customer Service or related discipline and/or experience deemed equivalent.
  • Customer Service or related discipline and/or equivalent experience (essential).
  • Demonstrated capability in meeting room and events coordination (essential).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in a face-to-face customer service role (essential).
  • High level of proficiency in Facilities, Finance, Asset Management, MS Office and related systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to monitor own workload to ensure achievement of service standards and targets.
  • Ability to collaborate and work with the team to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability in resolving complaints of clients on current services and driving improvements to reduce complaints and deliver a better service.
  • Full driver’s license.
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills.
