Senior Asset Performance Technical Specialist
You will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of asset and service performance requirements for Sydney Water. You will conduct high quality analysis and research of asset and infrastructure performance metrics to identify trends and deviations, to provide technical advice and insights for management and preparation of advanced qualitative information to facilitate continual improvement.
What you will be doing
- Validate business assumptions through advanced “what‑if” analysis of asset and service performance to support evidence‑based decision making across capital planning, operational strategy, maintenance optimisation and day‑to‑day service delivery.
- Maintain, evaluate, review and update, asset and service components of asset and system performance framework and associated input metrics to monitor asset performance and provide technical advice on insights.
- Develop, maintain and improve effectiveness of asset and service data management, retention and validation processes to meet Sydney Water and relevant regulatory requirements.
About you
- Bachelor’s qualifications in engineering, science or a related discipline, or experience deemed equivalent, with demonstrated experience and skills in development and implementation of performance framework.
- Demonstrated experience in business performance insights (e.g. service, system, asset and work delivery performance), couple with risk management, financial and economic analysis and using/developing related tools in decision making.
- Strong analytical skills to identify issues, trends, drivers and links to customer/ regulatory needs.
- Demonstrated ability to interact, build relationships, influence and drive change at all levels, both internal and external to the Organisation.
