About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Process Analyst to join our team. This role is instrumental in evaluating, improving, and optimising operational processes across the organisation. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and design future-state processes that align with strategic objectives.

As a Business Process Analyst, you will apply your problem-solving skills to address organisational challenges, develop functional requirements, and produce high-quality documentation to support process improvements and system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in current processes to improve performance.
  • Facilitate process improvement initiatives through detailed modelling and scoping.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define acceptance criteria, and incorporate feedback.
  • Document business processes using BPMN2 standards in the process model repository.
  • Ensure alignment of processes with strategic objectives and architectural frameworks.
  • Analyse and document organisational pain points to support targeted improvements.
  • Maintain and update business process models to reflect current and optimised practices.
  • Validate existing processes for accuracy and compliance using BPMN2 standards.
  • Adhere to endorsed process improvement and modelling standards.
  • Link processes to relevant procedures, policies, KPIs, and risk controls.
  • Develop user stories, epics, and future-state process documentation.
  • Support procedural documentation, testing, user acceptance, and solution rollout.
  • Establish process ownership, governance, and performance accountability.
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure endorsement and successful implementation of changes.
  • Contribute to project teams, ensuring timely and effective delivery of assigned tasks.
  • Maintain consistency and integrity in process database structures.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business process analysis, modelling, and requirements gathering.
  • Strong proficiency in business process modelling using BPMN2 standards.
  • Demonstrated experience with process design, improvement methodologies, and reporting.
  • Skilled in using BPM tools such as Signavio, ARIS, or ProMapp.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and constructive approach.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage large teams, providing clear direction and support.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • High-level problem-solving capabilities, including risk evaluation and development of alternative solutions.
  • Adaptable team player, comfortable working in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and structured documentation.
