About The Role

This role leads the development and program management of Maintenance and Renewal Plans across Sydney Waters Network Facilities assets, ensuring we deliver the optimal balance of performance, cost, and risk.

  • Lead end‑to‑end maintenance and renewal work planning, integrating bottom‑up builds into annual and multi‑year (2–5 year) programs aligned with budgeting and governance processes.
  • Coordinate financial and planning alignment by linking work programs to the budget cycle, partnering closely with finance for accurate reporting, and supporting IPART‑related budget submissions.
  • Manage and govern maintenance and renewal programs, ensuring quality, compliance, performance reporting (including KPIs, financials and benefits realisation), and continuous improvement across delivery and remediation activities.
  • Monitor program execution, supporting prioritisation, business case development, project approvals, tracking progress, addressing risks and interdependencies, and running program/project reviews to ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery.

About You:

In addition to a degree (or equivalent) qualification in an Engineering or Business discipline and ideally some experience with project management methodology (PMBOK, PRINCE2 etc) and / or continuous improvement methodologies including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. You will also have:

  • Experience in the development and management of maintenance and renewals programs
  • Experience in maintenance and renewals program management in a similar role / large organisation
  • Proven, successful stakeholder management in a large complex organisation
  • Developed report writing and communication skills
