An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Manager to join the City Growth and Development team at Sydney Water.

In this newly created role, you will join our team that guides commercial policy and provides growth servicing intelligence to inform Sydney Water’s investment in new infrastructure.


Responsibilities:

You be accountable for the implementation, management and operations for charging and collecting infrastructure contributions from the development industry, with a current estimated annual revenue $500 million per annum.

Manage the development and implementation of clear policies and operational frameworks for the infrastructure contributions scheme and interfaces between City Growth and Development with other Sydney Water groups for infrastructure contributions. 

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in commercial business management, regulation and business governance frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, implementation and management of business processes or products to achieve defined outcomes.
  • Understanding of competition and regulatory, financial considerations associated with development servicing plans and infrastructure contributions
  • Understanding of the business, asset and financial processes and systems required to manage commercial business activities
  • Demonstrated ability to engage collaboratively with stakeholders and influence key decision makers across the organisation including senior stakeholder management.
  • Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance (Corporate Finance), Applied Finance, Business, Economics, Science
