About the Role 

We are seeking a highly capable and strategic Senior Procurement Specialist (Digital) to support a team of Procurement Specialists in delivering best-in-class procurement services. This role is critical in ensuring the organisation secures the goods, services, and facilities it needs—on time, at the right quality, and at the best total cost of ownership. 

You will drive strategic procurement initiatives and ensure the efficient delivery of procurement services aligned with business priorities. 

  • Execute sourcing activities for digital and technology categories, including software, cloud services, IT infrastructure, and professional services.
  • Collaborate with IT, digital, and transformation teams to align procurement strategies with business needs and technology roadmaps.
  • Apply category management principles to identify cost-saving opportunities, manage supplier risk, and drive value.
  • Manage supplier relationships and contract performance to ensure service quality, innovation, and value delivery.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with governance, probity, and organisational policies.
  • Support reporting of procurement outcomes, benefits, and key performance indicators related to digital spend.

About You

  • Strong experience in digital procurement, including sourcing of IT services, software, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Proven ability to partner with technology stakeholders and influence commercial outcomes.
  • Skilled in category management, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiation within digital domains.
  • Strong understanding of procurement governance and risk management in complex environments.
  • Relevant qualifications in procurement, supply chain, or IT (e.g. CIPS, ITIL) are desirable.
  • 5+ years’ experience in digital procurement or technology category management in large or complex organisations.
